INDEPENDENT EXTERNAL
ABUSE PREVENTION AUDITS

REMOTE AUDIT
Our comprehensive remote audit includes a detailed review of your organization’s prevention plan, interviews with staff, volunteers, and board members, and an assessment of operations specific to your ministry or charitable activities. Following the audit, we provide a professional written report with findings and recommendations for board review and follow-up action.

ON-SITE AUDIT
For organizations seeking a more in-depth assessment, we offer on-site audits for an additional fee. A qualified auditor will spend a full day at your location to review your prevention plan, conduct in-person interviews with staff, volunteers, and board members, and observe operational practices unique to your organization. Following the visit, a professional audit report will be presented to you and your Board during a scheduled conference call at their next meeting.

ONGOING AUDIT SUPPORT
Organizations that complete an external audit with us can also access ongoing support to maintain strong prevention practices. External audits are recommended every five years, depending on the size and scope of your organization. As part of this service, we provide online training to equip your staff and volunteers to conduct effective internal audits annually at their convenience. Each session includes a customized follow-up checklist addressing items identified in the previous audit to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.
